Loving Care is a locally owned, family business that offers a full service operation caring for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and before and after School Age children. It was first opened in 1989 at 1205 East Third St. in Ottawa by Dave and Marlene Schroeder, serving approximately 75 children. In 2001, it was purchased by their daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Keith Alt, who are still current owners. In 2004, the business expanded and moved to 360 North Locust St. in Ottawa, serving 117 children. In 2012, Loving Care expanded again and then added an additional 5,000 square feet of preschool classroom space. We now have 11, 000 square feet at our learning center to better serve our families. Loving Care Leaning Center is now serving 155 children.
